This animation project took place across two schools, Portsmouth Academy year 10s and the senior school at the Madani Academy. Over three weekly sessions the groups designed and created their animations inspired by the theme of Fossils. Using 2D stop motion animation each group created a short skit which are included in the final film.

With over 23 years of experience, Splodge Designs is a dynamic community arts company led by Artistic Director Clare Jefferson Jones and Design/Sound Director Paul Jones.

Specialising in engaging community participation, Splodge Designs has worked on a variety of creative projects, including animations, puppet performances, music and workshops. They collaborate with people of all ages and abilities to produce unique artworks, commissions, site-specific installations and events.
