A camp is being set up in the centre of your town. DJs are collecting at Camp HQ and townsfolk too are advised to muster at sundown. A great projection wall is being built and you are invited to provide the visuals!

Our stewards will greet volunteer technicians and provide safety gear, then they’ll offer a quick demonstration of live, rhythmic, oil-suspended, dye manipulation at the light-stations before putting the control in the participants’ hands!

A live video feed could be displaying your colourful performance on the wall behind the DJs, bathing the dancing crowd in colours that throb and swirl in time with the beat!

The Big Black Cloud is a new collective of creatives that began forming with the aid of Portsmouth Creates at previous “We Shine” events.
